BikeSafe is a national initiative aimed at reducing motorcycle related accidents by improving rider skills. It’s run by riders who have successfully completed, what many consider to be, the finest rider training course in the world - Advanced, Class 1 police motorcyclists. In conjunction with Yamaha Motor UK, Woking Yamaha are pleased to be able to support Surrey BikeSafe by providing the use of a YZF-R6 that will be ridden by the police observers on this years courses. Bill Hailstone of Woking Yamaha is seen here handing the bike over to PC Tom Maxwell. You may have also noticed that Surrey Police have a new fleet of Yamaha FJR1300A’s that are apparently proving very popular with the police riders.
